Specialized Emergency Response:

STAT Heart
Boyd Memorial Hospital is proud to participate in Prairie Cardiovascular's STAT Heart program, one of the largest coordinated heart attack response networks in Illinois. This program helps ensure patients experiencing a heart attack receive rapid evaluation and access to specialized cardiac care.

STAT Stroke
We also participate in the STAT Stroke program, supporting rapid recognition and treatment of stroke symptoms and timely transfer to a higher level of care when needed.

Our Emergency Department providers also serve as hospitalists, allowing us to admit and care for patients at Boyd when hospitalization is needed - even when their primary care provider is unavailable.
