Community Support Makes Foundation Fundraiser a Success

Following the Boyd Memorial Hospital Foundation’s recent fundraising event, Foundation President Andrew Kamp shared the message below to thank those who attended, sponsored, and supported the evening.

Community generosity plays an important role in helping the Foundation support vital programs and initiatives at Boyd Memorial Hospital. From assisting patients with travel expenses for treatment to supporting scholarships, equipment purchases, and facility improvements.

"Dear Community Members,

On behalf of the Boyd Memorial Hospital Foundation, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for our recent fundraising music event. We are deeply grateful to those who attended and to our generous sponsors, whose support made the evening a resounding success.

Thanks to your generosity, the funds raised will directly support vital programs and initiatives that strengthen healthcare in our community. These include providing gas cards to help cancer patients travel to treatments in Greene and Calhoun Counties, purchasing essential medical equipment, funding facility upgrades, supporting scholarships for students pursuing careers in healthcare, and managing the Costello Trust, which assists community members with medical expenses.

Greene County is fortunate to have a local hospital. Many rural communities are not as lucky and must travel long distances to receive care. Your support ensures that Boyd Memorial Hospital can continue offering high-quality, compassionate care close to home for the people who need it most.

It was truly inspiring to see our community come together for an evening filled with music, generosity, and shared commitment.
