Boyd Memorial Hospital invites community members to attend an upcoming Lunch & Learn focused on venous disease, a common condition that affects blood flow in the veins—most often in the legs.
Led by Vascular Medicine specialist Dr. Khurana, this educational session will help attendees better understand the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for vein-related concerns.
Topics will include:
Spider veins
Varicose veins
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)
Common symptoms such as leg pain, swelling, and heaviness
When to seek medical care
Treatment options available close to home
Many people experience symptoms like tired, achy, or swollen legs without realizing they may be related to an underlying vein condition. This session is designed to provide clear, practical information and give attendees the opportunity to ask questions in a comfortable setting.
The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided.
Date: Monday, May 4
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 PM
Location: Boyd Memorial Hospital – Reisch Dining Room
Please RSVP for lunch by April 24 by calling (217) 942-6542.
