Clinical Lab Scientists

April 6, 2017 | Posted by Community Relations

Our Laboratory Department has noticed a decline in the number of college graduates earning a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science over the last several years. Now seems the appropriate time to give upcoming High School graduates a career idea, if they are interested in science.
If you know of a student entering college, or maybe a college student with an undecided science major, they may be interested in researching the career of a Clinical Lab Scientist. It’s a career that demands a Bachelor's degree, and key responsibilities include performing tests on specimens, recording data, communicating results to physicians, and training medical laboratory technicians. Interested in more information as to what this type of career entails? Give our Lab a call at (217) 942-6946, or email Connie at [email protected].
